こんにちは

今回は黒人カントリーシンガーの草分け的存在のCharley Prideの名曲を。

残念ながら2020年12月に新型コロナによる合併症でお亡くなりになられています。

2000年には本HPの写真でもあるCountry Music Hall of Fameに黒人として初めての殿堂入りを果たしています。

彼の歌声には人種の壁を越えるような深い魅力があったのでしょう。他の曲も次の機会にぜひとも紹介したいです。
